"Este abundenta și constanta, de la inceputul lunii pana in noaptea de 12 - 13 August.

Meteorii sunt colorati si parasesc frecvent trenurile persistente.

Acesti factori fac, ca ploaia Perseidelor sa fie probabil cea mai indragita ploaie de meteori pentru emisfera nordica."
