Ziua de deschidere a competițiilor la Campionatul European ILCA Senior 2025 și Trofeul European Open s-a încheiat astăzi în Marstrand, Suedia, cu primele două curse programate finalizate pentru toate cele trei clase.
Dimineața a adus condiții de mare agitată, forțând o amânare pe uscat. Până la momentul în care flotele au ieșit pe apă între orele 11:30 și 12:00, valurile s-au liniștit la aproximativ 2 metri, permițând începerea curselor la scurt timp după ora 13:00.
Valurile au continuat să scadă pe parcursul după-amiezii, stabilizându-se într-o situație mai agitată de 0.5–1 metru până la sfârșitul celor de-a doua curse.
O briză constantă de 10–12 noduri a predominat pe parcursul zilei, încetând ușor în etapele de încheiere.

The opening day of racing at the 2025 ILCA Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy wrapped up today in Marstrand, Sweden, with the first two scheduled races completed for all three classes.
The morning brought strong swell conditions, forcing a postponement ashore. By the time fleets launched between 11:30 and 12:00, the waves had eased to around 2 metres, allowing racing to get underway shortly after 13:00. The swell continued to drop during the afternoon, settling into a choppier 0.5–1 metre by the end of the second races.
A steady breeze of 10–12 knots prevailed for most of the day, softening slightly in the closing stages.
After two races, the provisional leaders in each class and category are as follows:
